Lloyd your comments referencing me about theCity Manager are incorrect. The following is the only comment I made that referenced the City Manager:

"If a CEO ran a public/private company the way our City has been run they would have been fired! In Cape Coral we give him a raise, an excellent rating, a take home car for personal use and other perks"! I would appreciate a correction on this issue for purposes of correctness.

Moreover, there were no questions on getting our fair share from the County or the State. It should be noted that questions were posed to approximately 3 Candidates at a time i.e. red, green and blue cards that were placed in front of them. I have a detailed list of all questions asked and are noted below
:
1. property tax relief, when will the reductions be effective
2. how would you improve the City and way of life and why do you believe you should be on Cit Council
3. If you could change one thing to make Cape Coral better, what would it be
4.Charter Schools, should the City be in competition with Lee County Schools
5.Do you support impact fees
6.Do you support Candidate background checks
7. What are 3 main City issues
8. What have you done to prepare yourself to become a Councilman
9. What can be done to prevent a shortage of potable water
10. Do you support reducing the number of Councilpersons
11. Would you favor a cap on the City Budget by Ordinance or by the Charter
12. What would you do to increase Economic development of retail
13. Budget cuts, would you support a reduction in the P.D, F.D. or Emergency services
14.Is the City getting it's fair share from Lee Couty and the State
15.Identify specific areas where government is overspending
16. do you support construction of a Lee County Library in the NW
17. do you support parking of commercial vehicles in residential areas
18.Give some common sense solutions that you have
19. Why do you want to be a Councilman

Respectfully,
Lynn Rosko

Thanks Lynn, for your feedback. Question 14 asked candidates how they would work to get "our fair share" from County and State governments, as you yourself noted.

I also didn't quote you directly on your position on the CM, but thank you for posting your direct quote here. That's the power of the medium.

Have a wonderful day!

Lloyd, with all due respect your comment "Lynn Rosko listed many of the perks that the City Manager receives and recommended removing some of them" is not what I said in any manner or form, as noted by my exact statement that I have posted above and is repeated ehre for accuracy

“If a CEO ran a public/private company the way our City has been run they would have been fired! In Cape Coral we give him a raise, an excellent rating, a take home car for personal use and other perks”.

In effect I was asking why is he still our City Manager.

Lynn while the question may not have been posed directly to you, the question was asked.
